This is an Eb flute in african blackwood and sterling silver. The slide is made out of brass and stainless steel.
I made this flute a few years ago based on a 19th century flute made by Hawkes & Sons.The head is a bit heavy and I was planning on replacing it but the sound of the flute is just great as it is so I decided to give it a full clean up and polish but not change any part. This is the very first Eb flute I've ever made.
